   Proposal Description:
   Abstract: This project examines the diagnostic utility of Age-Associated Memory Impairment (AAMI) as a predictor of future cognitive decline and a possible marker of prodromal Alzheimer???s disease (AD).    SPECIFIC AIMS:  1)To determine whether individuals with AAMI progress to MCI or dementia at a significantly higher rate than those with normal cognition. 2) To examine whether individuals with AAMI demonstrate significantly greater rates of decline on other non-memory neuropsychological measures than those with normal cognition.
